Breastfeeding is the best, but it can be totally time consuming! And for those long hours stuck on the coach or in the rocker, you need something to pass the time other than staring at your precious little baby. When your eyes are too tired to read, a good podcast is the perfect way to fill your nursing time. Keep reading for some of my favorite podcasts!

This American Life

“From WBEZ Chicago, it's This American Life, distributed by Public Radio International. I'm Ira Glass. Stay with us.” Thus begins one of my favorite podcasts every week. This podcast has a theme every week and tells 3-4 stories on that theme. Sometimes it’s funny, sometimes it’s heart wrenching, always it’s eye-opening.

The Longest Shortest Time

Self described as “The parenting show for everyone” this podcast brings you “stories about the surprises and absurdities of raising other humans—and being raised by them. The Longest Shortest Time is a bold, daring podcast about parenthood in all of its forms. But you don’t need to be a parent to listen.”

Beautiful Anonymous

Beautiful Stories from Anonymous People is a podcast hosted by Chris Gethard, a comedian by trade. Every week he takes a phone call from a total stranger and talks to them for one hour about anything they want to.  I love listening to other people’s stories and hearing about their experiences. Such a fascinating concept and listen.
